Great Stay At Dos Hemisferios

We had nine wonderful weeks staying here in this 3 bedroom 3 bath condo (January 10th to March 14th, 2014). The condo has great closet space, storage areas and a large safe. We enjoyed the nice sized balcony, the view & being on the beach. There is a laundry room with a great washer and dryer. For the first part of our stay we were six in the condo, and the last five weeks there were four of us. The condo was a perfect size for a large group for cooking, visiting and day to day activities. We ate in a large part of the time & enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen which has a huge island. We also enjoyed Bahia & the surrounding area. You can walk almost anywhere in Bahia which includes great restaurants, shops, a huge vegetable, fruit and fish market not to mention the fantastic beach. There is also a new mall in Bahia which has just about anything you might want. Bahia is a quiet town but you can tour and be as busy as you want. The complex has a great pool area with wonderful staff and friendly condo neighbours. We loved our stay at Dos Hemisferios and recommend it as a great vacation spot in Ecuador.

Beautiful condo with fantastic view and very helpful staff. We had WIFI and all necessary utensils in the kitchen. The only problem we had was no hot water in the master bath. So we just used one of the other bathrooms. Bahia is a very quiet town. We (2 couples) traveled up to Canoa and spent a wonderful day at the beach. Also try Coco Bongo's for a delicious breakfast cheap!

Hot water in the master bedroom is now fully functional.

The place was spotless when we arrived and well appointed. Internet is very good. The view is breath taking and all the people we met were friendly and professional and helped arrange activities and taxis when needed. The tennis club, with great clay courts, is next door for a small fee. Can walk to restaurants, shops, market, and the beach. The only negative was the loud music on weekends and during Carnival, but hey, that is the culture and we are on the beach. Highly recommend, as this place is beautiful and well managed. Tough to find another that is better in Bahia.
